Resistors for Automotive Electronics
Modern xEV powertrains and ADAS-equipped vehicles place resistors at safety-critical nodes: pre-charge for 400 V / 800 V battery packs, active discharge after a crash event per ECE R100, current sensing in the inverter shunt path, and bleeder circuits in the on-board charger (OBC). Every passive component touching the HV bus must be AEC-Q200 Rev D qualified, traceable through IATF 16949, and survive 1000 thermal shock cycles from -40°C to +150°C. Mission-profile testing follows LV124 / LV148 for 12 V and 48 V rails. Hongyi delivers PPAP Level 3 documentation, 8D root-cause reporting, and ISO 26262 functional-safety evidence (resistors as supporting hardware elements) for tier-1 powertrain and battery integrators.
