1. What's Covered
Open-circuit failure, short circuit, resistance drift exceeding the rated tolerance, mechanical defects in cement/housing or terminals, and electrical performance not matching the datasheet at the published reference ambient. Custom-engineered parts carry the same 12-month warranty unless an extended term is explicitly agreed in writing.
2. What's Not Covered
Damage from operation beyond the published derating curve, voltage transients exceeding the surge spec, mechanical shock or vibration outside IEC 60068 envelopes, improper soldering (temperature > 350 °C for > 10 s), reverse polarity in DC service, water ingress on non-sealed parts, and any unauthorised modification. Cosmetic discoloration at the rated hot-spot temperature is normal and not a defect.
3. How to Make a Claim (RMA Process)
1) Email [email protected] with the PO number, lot code, failed quantity, photos and a brief description of the failure mode. 2) We respond within one business day with an RMA number and shipping instructions. 3) Return the suspect parts (we typically pay return freight for >20-piece claims). 4) Our QC team analyses the samples within 7 business days and emails a root-cause report. 5) Confirmed defects are replaced free of charge, or refunded at our discretion.
4. Out-of-Warranty Repairs
Resistor cabinets, load banks and custom-engineered parts can be returned for paid refurbishment after the 12-month warranty expires. Quoted by case based on the parts replaced plus a flat labour fee. Typical refurbishment turnaround is 3–5 weeks.
