Shipping & Lead Time Policy

Hongyi Electronics ships to 60+ countries via DHL, FedEx, UPS, EMS and sea freight. Below is the standard policy for sample, stock and bulk orders. Custom shipping arrangements are negotiable and confirmed in the PI before payment.

1. Lead Times

Stock samples ship within 1–3 business days of order confirmation. Standard products (catalogue parts) ship in 7–14 days from payment. Custom-engineered parts ship in 2–4 weeks for standard customisations; 5–10 weeks if new tooling is required. Lead time begins after final spec sign-off and PI deposit clears.

2. Carriers

We ship by DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT, EMS (China Post EMS), Aramex and consolidated sea freight. Default for samples is DHL Express (5–7 days door-to-door). Bulk orders >100 kg typically go by sea freight to your nearest port. You may nominate your own forwarder and account; we will coordinate.

3. Incoterms 2020

We support EXW (ex Yiyang factory), FCA, FOB (any Chinese port), CIF, DAP and DDP. DDP covers all freight, duties and taxes to your door — recommended for samples and small orders. EXW / FOB is common for buyers using a nominated forwarder. The chosen Incoterm is fixed in the PI before payment.

4. Packaging

Standard packaging: anti-static blister or plastic tray inside a corrugated carton, with desiccant for sea freight. Tape & reel, kitted bags, custom labelling and OEM-neutral packaging are available on request. All cartons carry the part number, lot code, quantity and date of manufacture per IEC 61340 ESD handling guidance.

5. Tracking & Customs

We email the AWB / B/L within 24 hours of dispatch. Commercial invoice, packing list and HS code (8533.21 for fixed wirewound power resistors) are included with every shipment. For DDP shipments we handle import customs on your behalf via the carrier. For EXW / FOB the buyer is responsible for clearance and may request CE / RoHS / REACH declarations as separate documents.

6. Damage & Loss

Inspect every shipment before signing. Note any visible damage on the courier's delivery receipt and email photos to [email protected] within 7 days. For DDP shipments we re-ship replacements at our cost. For EXW / FOB the carrier's transit insurance applies — we will assist with the claim. Insurance can be added to any shipment for ~0.3 % of declared value.
