ヒューズ抵抗器は、抵抗器と過電流保護の機能を併せ持つ安全部品。通常動作では電流制限・分圧・突入電流保護に必要な抵抗値を提供。異常（過電流・短絡・サージ）時には抵抗体が所定条件で溶断し、ヒューズのように回路を遮断します。
